The multisurface rubber brushes can adjust and flex to different floors types, so they don't tangle with pet hair.

1. Roomba X8 from iRobot

The X8 is among the top robot vacuums designed for pet hair due to its flexible dual multi-surface brushes and suction that is power-lifting. It also comes with intelligent mapping and navigation that can learn your home's layout, ensuring it always finds the right route to clean, and avoids stairs.

The only downside of this model is that it doesn't have an dual-purpose charging dock/dust collector like many of its competitors which means you have to keep tabs on the dustbin and manually empty it whenever you need to. But, this isn't a major issue, and other budget-friendly robots like the Yeedi Vac 2 do the same thing for a much cheaper price.

Setup of this robot using the Eufy Home application is easy, though it may take a few minutes to start it up and running. It is compatible with Amazon Alexa voice commands and Google Assistant voice command.

2. Neato Botvac D-Shape

In contrast to the majority of robots, which are round, this one features an e-shaped design. This makes it easier to keep walls and corners clean more effectively than the majority of. It also has a relatively quiet operation, making it easier to use while you're home.

This model utilizes patented LaserSmart mapping and navigation technology to map your home. The Neato app lets you access the map in a virtual format. This makes it easy to set up and switch no-go zones.

The Auto mode automatically shifts between carpeting and hard flooring, while Eco and Turbo let you select between suction power and runtime. 5. IRobot Roomba X5

The iRobot Roomba E5 is a good robot vacuum that performs well on all surface types. It doesn't have the same number of premium features, like support for voice commands or apps-based steering, as our top option from Ecovacs but it is more mobile and has fewer recurring expenses. It also has a bigger dirt container as well as a longer battery.

It's a bit less effective on bare floors than the iRobot Roomba i4, but it does better on carpets with a low pile and pet hair. Its suction power decreases as the dirt container gets full and it gets stuck on electrical cords and rug tassels. The wheels on the front of the casters can be removed to clean them, however you will need to use a screwdriver. It is compatible with iRobot Home, which gives you the ability to schedule your time and other options.

6. Roomba X4 from iRobot

It comes with a long battery life and a dust compartment that automatically emptys. It also cleans its docking stations and sensors automatically. It is able to be linked to Alexa or Google Home devices so that it can be controlled remotely, and voice commands are made available.

Its sensor and navigation features make it good at navigating obstacles, but it sometimes gets stuck in furniture or gets caught on cords. It can also be loud, especially on high-pile carpets.

This vacuum cleaner isn't as sophisticated as our top pick. However, its user-friendly interface offers many of the same features, including an extensive home map as well as the option of setting specific cleaning times, and virtual barriers. It isn't easy to maintain as its brushrolls and HEPA filter need to be replaced regularly. Additionally, its side brush can get tangled with hair from pets. These issues can increase maintenance costs.

This is a great robotic vacuum for floors that are not clean. It is well-built and is capable of maneuvering around obstacles. It also charges fast. It can be controlled and scheduled using the iRobot app, Google or Alexa voice assistants, or with an external sensor. Cliff Detect stops the robot from falling down stairs. It has a full set of sensors that help it navigate around furniture and along edges.

It's great at taking small and bulky debris from floors that are not bare including pet hair. It also works well on carpets with a low pile and is very maneuverable. It isn't as effective on high-pile carpets, and will incur more expensive recurring costs, however.

We prefer it to the eufy RoboVac 30C because the iRobot is more solid and has fewer parts that require regular maintenance, charges more quickly and comes with more advanced automation features. It can even automatically empty its dustbin into a dirt container on the charging dock. This eliminates the requirement for manual maintenance.

Smart mapping allows you to create virtual boundaries that keep the X2 out of areas or rooms you don't want to put it in. The apps are easy to use and offer a range of options for customizing. For example you can set specific times for cleaning runs.

The app offers a user-friendly menu that provides details about the health of the product as well as a user guide and advanced settings. This lets you set up multiple jobs that can be launched with a single touch or let the device determine which rooms need more work.

9. IRobot Roomba X1

They aid to smooth over the small bumps and ridges that surround your home. Its undercarriage has a main brush that collects dirt and hair while it mops, as well as spots to click in mopping pads.

During testing, the robot was able navigate and map itself around the house with out any interference from us. It mops and vacuums without getting stuck, and then automatically refills its water and dust bin.

Jacob Jensen Design has created a beautiful machine that is priced more competitively than iRobot’s expensive Deebot X1 OMNI, or the $2,058 Roborock MaxV Ultra. The software of Yiko isn't without fault and the loud rumble from its dock-emptying routine might put some off. But those who want a robot that can do it all will be able to find something that appeals to them.

10. iRobot Roomba X1+

The X1+ is among the best robot vacuums designed for pet hair. It has dual multisurface rubber brushes that can pick up hair without getting tangled.
